Caroline Erskine

Caroline Erskine is a broadcasting journalist and a communications consultant specialising in political and public affairs . Her career began as an RTE television and radio journalist. She was political correspondent for Ireland’s first national independent radio station, Century Radio. She went on to devise, present and produce her own current affairs series ‘Headliners’ on RTE television and later co-presented ‘The Week in Politics’ for the same station. She has also been Chairperson of Women On Air, which strives to see and hear more women experts on the airwaves. Caroline was executive director of We the Citizens, a year-long research initiative funded by the Atlantic Philanthropies. It tested the value of the Citizens Assembly model in Ireland which helped to lead to referendums on Marriage Equality and the 8th Amendment.
